Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all services provided by AITEST S.R.L. ("MacDuty", "we", "us") and forms part of our Terms of Service. It exists for one reason: to keep our network, our IP space and our other customers safe. By using our services you agree to this policy and are responsible for everything that happens on your Mac, including actions by your users, your software and any automated agent you run.
1. Your responsibility
You have full administrative access to your Mac. You are solely responsible for the security of your machine, for all content stored on or transmitted through it, for all software you install, and for compliance with all applicable laws in Romania, the European Union, and any jurisdiction you operate in or target.
2. Prohibited activities
You must not use our services to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email, spam, or operate mailing lists without verified opt-in consent. Bulk outbound email requires our prior written approval.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, exploit kits, or command-and-control infrastructure for botnets.
- Conduct port scanning, vulnerability scanning, brute-force attacks, credential stuffing, or any unauthorised access attempt against systems you do not own or have documented permission to test.
- Launch or participate in denial-of-service attacks, amplification attacks, or traffic floods of any kind.
- Host or distribute child sexual abuse material. This results in immediate termination and a report to the competent authorities, without notice.
- Infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights, including distribution of pirated software, media, or licence keys.
- Host phishing pages, fraudulent shops, fake login portals, carding tools, or any material intended to deceive or defraud.
- Mine cryptocurrency or run equivalent sustained proof-of-work workloads.
- Operate open proxies, open relays, open resolvers, or public anonymisation services (Tor exit nodes, public VPN endpoints). Private VPN use for your own organisation is permitted.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or forge headers, sender addresses, or network identifiers.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or violate the privacy of others, including unlawful surveillance, stalking, or scraping of personal data.
- Store or process personal data unlawfully, or use our services in a way that would put us in breach of the GDPR.
- Circumvent access controls, resell access in breach of Apple's software licence terms, or run macOS in a manner not permitted by Apple's licence.
3. AI agents and automation
Running automated agents, crawlers, and unattended workloads is expressly permitted and supported. You remain fully responsible for what your agents do. Automated activity must respect robots.txt where applicable, must not evade rate limits or bot protections of third-party services in violation of their terms, and must not generate traffic patterns that degrade our network or the services of others. Credentials and third-party accounts used by your agents are your responsibility.
4. Network use and fair use
Each Mac is connected on a dedicated port with unmetered traffic under fair use. Fair use means sustained traffic consistent with development, build, testing, agent, and application workloads. Sustained saturation of your port, or traffic that materially affects other customers or our aggregate capacity, may result in rate limiting after notice. We will always contact you before applying limits, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the network.
5. IP addresses
IP addresses are assigned to you for the duration of your service and remain our property. You must not announce, route, or transfer them elsewhere. You must not take any action that causes our IP ranges to be listed on public blocklists. Repeated blocklisting caused by your activity is a material breach of this policy and may result in immediate suspension.
6. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to [email protected]. We investigate every report and respond within one business day.
7. Enforcement
Where we identify a violation, our normal process is to notify you and give you a reasonable period to resolve it, usually 24 to 72 hours. Where a violation is severe, unlawful, or presents an immediate risk to our network, our IP reputation, or third parties, we may suspend or terminate the service immediately and without prior notice. We may preserve and disclose information where required by law or by a competent authority.
Suspension for a violation does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining period.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email at least 15 days before they take effect.
