What do I get?

A Mac mini in our racks, yours alone, with macOS installed and SSH and remote desktop access. We keep it powered, cooled and connected. You use it like a Mac on your desk.

How is it billed?

By the day, the month or the year, in EUR or USD, at the same price when you renew. A day costs the month divided by thirty plus a fifth, with a 24-hour minimum. A year takes a fifth off and is paid once.

Is hosting macOS allowed?

Yes. Apple's licence allows macOS on Apple hardware rented to one customer for at least 24 hours at a time. There is no virtualisation in between.

How fast is it ready?

Builds marked ready today are handed over within minutes. In three days means the Mac is in stock but not yet racked. The 2026 Macs ship from Apple on 22 September and go into the racks in order of request.

Which generations are there?

Every Mac mini with an Apple chip: M1, M2 and M2 Pro, M4 and M4 Pro, M5 Pro and M6. There is no M3 and no plain M5 Mac mini, because Apple never made them.

Can I use a remote desktop?

Yes. macOS screen sharing and Apple Remote Desktop work over the public address, or through a VPN into your own network. Any VNC client works too. SSH is on from the start.

Which macOS versions can I run?

Any version the Mac supports, from the one it shipped with to the current release. You choose when you order and can reinstall a different one yourself later.

What if the Mac fails?

We replace it within the day with the same model and move your disk over, or restore your latest snapshot. Snapshots are yours to take from the dashboard.
