Best Mac mini hosting in Europe, 2026

Seventeen European hosts renting a dedicated Mac mini, starting with the seven that actually have the 2026 M6, compared on price, setup fees, shortest rental and what each is best at. Prices read from their own pages on one day.

Prices checked 4 October 2026. Monthly, in euro, excluding VAT, unless noted.

Renting a dedicated Mac mini in the EU is a crowded market in 2026, and the M6 Mac mini that Apple shipped on 22 September split it in two: a handful of hosts have racked one, most have not. Below is where seventeen European providers actually stand, with prices read off their own pages.

Disclosure: MacDuty is one of the hosts below.

Who actually has the 2026 Mac mini

This is the shortest way to narrow the field. On the day we checked, these were the European hosts selling an M6, at 16 GB and 256 GB where they offer it:

Green Mini hostabout 97 EUR85 EUR50 EUR

Roundfleet215 USD, not yet shippingnot offerednot stated

Everyone else on this page sells M4 or older. Scaleway, MacStadium, Hetzner, Keyweb, Adminor, HostMyApple, Honds IT, Sayob, rentamac.io, Unihost and the colocation specialists have no M6 listed yet.

Paid yearly, MacDuty is the cheapest M6 with no setup fee; by the month, OakHost is lower. Green Mini is cheaper on the headline, and adds 50 EUR once; over a year that still works out lower than ours, and we say so below.

1. MacDuty: the cheapest M6 paid yearly with no setup fee, and the only one billed by the day

Romania. Mac mini M6 16/256 by the month, by the year or by the day. No setup fee.

Of the European hosts that charge nothing to set up, we have the lowest price on the 2026 Mac mini paid yearly; by the month, OakHost is lower. We are also the only one here that rents an M6 by the day, with Apple's 24-hour minimum, which is the cheapest way to find out whether a machine in Romania is fast enough for your build before committing to a month.

Bare metal, one customer per machine, a dedicated gigabit port, a public IPv4 and IPv6 address. Yearly billing takes 20% off, where the rest of the market offers 10%, 12% or nothing. You restart the machine, reset its password, manage SSH keys and reinstall macOS yourself from your account, at any hour, without a ticket. Nothing is locked down: your own Apple Account, your own backups. Failed hardware is replaced with the same model the same day. Colocation of your own Mac mini is 30 EUR a month.

  • Pick it if: you want the newest chip without a setup fee, or you want to try a machine for a day first.

2. Green Mini host: the lowest prices, with a setup fee attached

Netherlands. M6 16/256 from 85 EUR paid yearly, M4 from 74 EUR. 50 EUR setup fee.

Green Mini has the lowest headline prices here, including on the M6, and they hold stock: their order page shows live availability and lets you filter by what ships now versus within a week. They are also one of the few renting a Mac Studio, including an M3 Ultra at 427 EUR, which is the way to get more than 64 GB of unified memory. They do not install MDM profiles.

Two things to read carefully. The prices on their product cards are the yearly rate: the M4 showing 93 EUR is 106 EUR paid monthly. And every order carries a one-time 50 EUR setup fee, which almost nobody else here charges. Deployment is quoted as three business days, which their own checkout calls an estimate rather than a guarantee.

  • Pick it if: you are staying a year or more and the monthly figure decides, or you need a Mac Studio.

3. OakHost: strong remote management, thin stock

Germany. M6 16/256 at 120 EUR plus 21% VAT. Instant provisioning.

Under us by the month on the headline configuration, with no yearly plan, and the closest competitor on paper. OakHost provisions in seconds, includes a KVM console and an external firewall on every plan, and offers 14 days money back on a first order. Network storage with Time Machine support is an add-on from 6 EUR a month.

The KVM is the real differentiator: out-of-band access, so you can watch the machine boot, enter Recovery and reinstall yourself, and type a FileVault password at startup. Nobody else in this comparison includes one as standard.

Their weakness on the day we checked was inventory. M1, M2, M2 Pro, M4 and M4 Pro were all out of stock; the larger M6 and the M5 Pro were coming soon, with pricing their own page calls preliminary. One configuration was orderable.

  • Pick it if: you want an out-of-band console, and the machine you need is in stock.

4. vBoxx: the compliance answer

Netherlands and Frankfurt. M6 16/512 at 155 EUR, 24/512 at 180 EUR, 32/512 at 204 EUR. 50 EUR setup fee on monthly billing.

Tier III datacentres, ISO 27001, NIS2, remote APC power control, optional JetKVM, 24/7 remote hands. If your purchase has to clear a procurement checklist, this is the shortest path to a signature.

Three things their pricing page makes clear and their marketing does not. There is no 256 GB option: the smallest M6 starts at 512 GB. Month-to-month billing carries a one-off 50 EUR setup fee, waived only on commitments of three months or more. And choosing Frankfurt instead of Amsterdam adds 25% to the price.

  • Pick it if: certifications on paper matter more than the monthly figure.

5. Scaleway: the one that behaves like a cloud

France. M1 at 75 EUR, M2 at 115 EUR, M4 from 149 EUR, M4 Pro at 335 EUR. 24-hour minimum.

The only host here with a real cloud around the Mac: API, console, VPC integration, provisioning in about five minutes, hourly billing. If your Macs come and go with your CI load, the arithmetic can land in your favour even at a higher rate. No M6 and no M5 Pro.

  • Pick it if: you want macOS as an API call inside an existing European cloud stack.

6. MacStadium: enterprise fleets

Ireland. M2 at 109 USD, M4 16/256 at 149 USD, M4 Pro at 349 USD. Invoiced in dollars.

Orka for orchestrating macOS at scale, SOC 2, and years of running large fleets. Its European datacentre is in Dublin. It is the US-owned option here, which matters if the CLOUD Act is on your risk register, and it bills in dollars. No M6.

  • Pick it if: you run dozens of Macs and need orchestration and compliance tooling.

7. JUUZ: Amsterdam, broad range, 10 Gbps uplinks

Netherlands. M2 from 79 EUR, M4 and M4 Pro from 109 EUR, M6 from 139 EUR, M5 Pro from 249 EUR.

Dedicated physical Macs in an Amsterdam datacentre with uplinks of up to 10 Gbps, root access, a fixed IP, VNC and SSH, and login details usually within one to two hours of ordering. Monthly contract, cancel any time. They cover M2 through M6 and M5 Pro, which is one of the broader ranges here.

On the M4 they start where we do. On the M6 and the M5 Pro we are lower.

  • Pick it if: you want a Dutch datacentre with a fast uplink and a range that spans several generations.

8. My Remote Mac: simple, dollar-priced, no commitment

France, Nantes. M4 16/256 at 85 USD, M6 16/256 at 149 USD, M4 Pro up to 449 USD. No setup fee, no commitment.

A newer and deliberately simple offer: nine configurations, no setup fee, cancel any time. Priced in dollars from a French datacentre, which is unusual in this list and worth checking against your own currency exposure.

  • Pick it if: you want an M4 cheaply with no commitment and do not mind dollar billing.

9. Roundfleet: hourly, ML-oriented, M6 not shipping yet

M4 16/256 at 99 USD a month or 0.14 USD an hour. M4 Pro 24/512 at 199 USD. M6 16/256 at 215 USD, listed as Soon.

Hourly billing with a monthly cap, aimed at machine learning work and open source projects. Their M6 is the most expensive here and, on the day we checked, was marked Soon rather than available, with reservations open since the September launch.

  • Pick it if: you want hourly billing and your workload is bursty.

The rest of the market, briefly

These appear in search results and buyer shortlists but either sell older silicon, serve a narrow niche, or did not publish enough for a like-for-like comparison on the day we checked:

  • Hetzner, Germany. Named in several buyer shortlists for Mac mini hosting, but we found no Mac mini line on their server pages when we checked, so we cannot quote a price.
  • Keyweb, Germany. TÜV-certified datacentre, Mac servers by request, longer prepay discounts.
  • Adminor, Stockholm. Physical units with PiKVM and a smart PDU, M4 Pro configurations up to 48 GB with 10 GbE.
  • Sayob, Germany and Helsinki. Bare-metal M4, provisioned in minutes.
  • HostMyApple, Amsterdam alongside Atlanta and Denver. Their entry product is a Mac VPS at 24.99 USD a month, which is a different thing: virtualised macOS on shared hardware. They also sell dedicated Macs, without published pricing.
  • Honds IT, Aachen. Small provider, TÜV and ISO 27001 facility.
  • xaweho, Düsseldorf. Named in buyer shortlists for cheap M4 hosting; we could not reach a current pricing page to confirm a figure.
  • HostMyServers, France.
  • rentamac.io, Cyprus. M4 16/256 at 99 USD, one-month minimum. Their pricing page showed all instances allocated when we looked.
  • Unihost. Mac mini dedicated servers in the USA, Netherlands and Germany.
  • HA Hosting, Sheffield, and Mac Mini Vault and Macminicolo outside the EU, for colocation of a Mac you already own. Green Mini and we also take colocation.
  • AWS EC2 Mac, Frankfurt and Ireland. Makes sense if you are already on AWS; Apple's licence imposes a 24-hour minimum allocation.

What to check before you order, whoever you choose

  • Is it in stock, or announced? Several providers list configurations that are not shipping yet. Get as far as checkout before you plan a project around a machine.
  • Is the price monthly or yearly? Most hosts put their yearly rate on the product card. Green Mini's 85 EUR and 74 EUR are yearly; the monthly figures are higher. Compare like with like.
  • Setup fees. Green Mini charges 50 EUR on every order, and vBoxx charges 50 EUR unless you commit to three months. Most others, including us, charge nothing. On a short rental that fee is the whole difference.
  • VAT. Every euro price here excludes it. Inside the EU a business with a valid VAT number gets reverse charge; without one you pay the provider's local rate on top, which is 21% at OakHost and Green Mini.
  • Port speed is not delivered bandwidth. A Mac mini can carry a 10 Gigabit port while the uplink behind it is 1 Gbit/s. Ask about both, separately.
  • Minimum term and renewal. Commitments here range from 24 hours to three months. Ask whether the price holds at renewal.
  • Can you leave? Reinstall without a ticket, your own backups, your own Apple Account. A cheap machine you cannot get out of is not cheap.

Figures were read from each provider's own pricing or order pages on 4 October 2026, in euro excluding VAT where the provider quotes in euro, and in dollars where they invoice in dollars. Green Mini's monthly figure is derived from their published yearly rate and 12% discount; everything else was read directly. Prices and stock move quickly in this market. Corrections welcome.
