Change your card or pay what is owed
Put another card on your Mac's order, pay a renewal that did not go through, and manage the cards you have saved, all from Billing in your account.

Your Mac renews on the card its order was paid with. You can put another card on the order at any time, and when a renewal does not go through, the same step pays what is owed there and then.
Everything here is on Billing in your account. Only the person who placed the order sees its card buttons.
Put another card on an order
- 1Sign in and open Billing.
- 2Under the order, choose Change the card.A Stripe page opens for that order. Your bank may ask you to confirm the card; that is the bank checking it is you.
- 3Enter the card and confirm. You come back to Billing, which says the card is saved. The next renewal of that order is charged to it.
An order paid with Klarna moves to the card the same way.
When a payment did not go through
If a renewal fails, access to your Macs is blocked at once and we write to you. Nothing is deleted yet: the Mac keeps running and your data is kept. On a monthly or yearly plan the service ends three days after the failed payment, on a daily or weekly one 24 hours after. Then the Mac is erased and goes to someone else.
Your dashboard shows a banner with the dates, and Billing marks the order: Payment failed: update the card.
- 1Choose Update the card, on the banner or under the order.
- 2Enter a card that works and confirm. What is owed is taken at once. Access to a blocked Mac comes back within a few minutes of the payment.
If the bank asks for one more confirmation, you are taken to Stripe's page for that payment to finish it.
Manage the cards you have saved
Manage saved cards, on Billing and on each Mac's Billing tab, opens Stripe's page for the cards on your account: add one, remove one, or make one the default. A new default card is used for the renewals that were on your old default.
It does not pay what is owed. For that, use Update the card as above.

Questions
- Do you see my card number?
- No. You enter it on Stripe's page, and Stripe, which takes our payments, keeps it; the number never reaches us.
- Can someone else in my company change the card?
- Only the person who placed the order can change its card. Anyone else can write to us from the account.
